The Acer Aspire One and MSI Wind U100 have the same specifications so the benchmark test we did on them showed a minor difference. We tried to get results with FutureMark’s PcMark05 and PCMark04, but it never showed up any results. We installed all the necessary codecs updates and Windows Updates and still it did not report any score. I assume the cause of this is the old benchmark software we used doesn’t can’t run on the new Intel Atom processors because of it’s totally different architecture. The reason we used older versions is because these netbooks are low on performance as compared with most notebooks, and the newest version of PCMark Vantage is made to measure a lot more powerful machines than the netbooks are. So we used a good alternative, the Passmark PerformanceTest 6.1 Build 1017 and the overall score was almost the same on both Acer and MSI, but the Asus EEE PC showed only half the score of the previous two. You can see the details of the benchmarks here.
