GigaByte Geforce GTX 590

Nvidia GeForce GTX590 is Finally Here!

I received a pleasant info today from nVidia and as you can read the title it is actually pretty good one for gamers. GeForce GTX590 has been introduced officially today after a few days delay from the original release date driver issues related. It’s a dual-GPU beast with 1024 famous nVidia CUDA cores with 3GB GDDR5 ram. It seems that this is THE most powerful GPU at the moment.

If you’re wondering what’s in the hood, the GTX 590 actually contains two GeForce GTX 580 GPUs with the same CUDA 512 cores. Well if you think what stops me from buying myself another GTX580 and run them in SLI, how about getting two GTX 590’s into SLI? Now that is what I call power! The GPUs and memory, according to nVidia are clocked down a bit GPUs at 607MHz and memory at 3.4GHz. The acoustics however have been much approved. Comparing to ATI Radeon HD6990 the nVidia card is significantly smaller and has backplates. The HD6990 however has 2GB per GPU memory available, so yes nVidia still has a bit of catching up to do. Asus, Gigabyte, EVGA and other manufacturers have already released their builds of the nvidia GTX590. Asus, as usual has their a little bit extra clocked at 3.42GHz :)

Oh the price right. Well it was announced that it will be sold at 900$ (huh?) but as we all know prices usually drop significantly even only a few days after. Asus GTX590 can already be found at 730$.

You can check the gallery and video by an official nVidia representative below. Have fun and we care what your thoughts are so do not hesitate to comment. Game on!
